Author Fees (APC)

Nahdlatul Fikr: International Journal of Islamic Studies, Education, and Humanities applies a transparent hybrid publication policy to support academic accessibility and ensure sustainable journal management. All fee policies are clearly stated and do not influence the editorial or peer-review process.

Submission and Review Fees

Submission and peer-review processes are completely free of charge. Authors are not required to pay any fees during manuscript submission, editorial screening, or peer review stages.

Publication Fees (APC)

Article Processing Charges (APC) are applied only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication. The APC covers editorial management, peer-review administration, copyediting, proofreading, layout formatting, DOI registration, online hosting, and long-term archiving support.

Hybrid Publication Policy

The journal applies a flexible hybrid model:

  • Standard Publication Track: Free of charge for selected manuscripts based on editorial consideration

  • Publication Support Track (APC): Applied after acceptance for manuscripts requiring additional editorial services or expedited processing

The selection of publication track is determined transparently after acceptance and does not affect the peer-review process.

Fee Transparency

All applicable fees are communicated only after manuscript acceptance. There are no hidden charges at any stage of the publication process.

Waiver Policy

The journal may grant full or partial fee waivers for authors from low-income institutions or countries, or for manuscripts with high academic merit, based on editorial decision.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are based solely on academic quality, originality, and relevance to the journal scope. Financial considerations do not influence acceptance or rejection decisions.
